Today's lunch is really a real late breakfast at the Phillips Farms Cafe on Hwy 12 about one mile east of I-5. It is located a bit less than a mile east of the Flying J Truck Stop that my motorcycling friend Sherm is so fond of.
The entrance to the Cafe, Bakery, Produce Stand and Wine TastingMichael and David are two of the Phillips brothers who market their local wine under the Michael David label. You can see the Flying J in the background.
Looking west from the parking lotThe blackboard displays the Specials at the Farm Cafe. Since we arrived around 11:15 AM the cafe was still on the breakfast menu for another 15 minutes.
This is the breakfast board served until 11:30 AMBehind mom you can see the other parts of the building which contain fresh local produce, baked goods and at the far end the wine tasting.

Here are some of the bakery products
They also sell homemade pies
Mom waiting for her breakfastNow I ordered the Corned Beef Hash and Eggs.

Mom chose the Apple Cinnamon Pancakes.
Mom's was more like a dessert since the pancakes were crepe like and had cinnamon and apple sauce or apple butter in the batter. Served with thin slices of apple and whipped cream with a caramel drizzle.
One photo of mom grubbingWe finish up around Noon so I have two hours to get mom back to Bayside for her Bingo. The residents have a Bingo game on Monday, Thursday and Saturday afternoons and on Tuesday evening. Mom rarely misses a Bingo Game.
