Mom, my sister and I are going to lunch today which is Father's Day. So first we will stop at the cemetery and put some fresh flowers there for Dad as well as his father and mother and my brother Thomas.
Grandpa and grandma Inamasu's names are on the other side of the headstone

Then it is still early so I decide to take the scenic route to Valley Springs from French Camp where the cemetery is located.
A herd of cattle between Escalon and Oakdale

Turning north on old Milton Road we pass some bicyclists. This is the most traffic I have seen on this lonely road in Stanislaus and Calaveras Counties.
That is a working windmill

This is the town of Milton in Calaveras County

We approach Valley Springs and Good Friends Chinese Buffet

Here's mom and my sister getting some sushi

It is Father's Day and the restaurant is really pretty busy.

Mom has her second plate, which she did not finish

But she has to have her dish of ice cream

Mom walking to the car

I decided to shoot a few pictures from inside the car as we wind our way back to Stockton along Hwy 12.
At the intersection of Hwy 88 is the Fruit Stand that these banners are for

We have a Rodeo in San Joaquin County

This old IOOF building now houses the Lockeford Sausage Company where I buy my sausages for my Triumph Motorcycle Club's Annual Sausage Feed

This is Louie's Fruit Stand just east of town on Waterloo Road. We used to stop here often with Dad since he liked to use their rest room.

Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables

Then it was over to my sister's home where I dropped off mom and sis. They had a few things to do before my sister would take mom back to Bayside Landing later that evening.
